ICC restricts Twitter during World Cup 2011

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has restricted all cricket players and officials from using social networking website ‘Twitter’ during the matches of World Cup 2011 in order to avoid any sort of corruption in the game. According to sources the ICC has taken this step, in response to manager of Australian team Steve Bernard’s tweets which drew more than 1,100 followers his account in the past six months.ICC restricts Twitter during World Cup 2011
